Common questions
- What is an email blacklist?
- A blacklist (DNSBL) is a list of IP addresses or domains known for sending spam. Mailbox providers check these lists and may reject or spam-folder mail from listed senders.
- My IP shows 'inconclusive' — what does that mean?
- Some blacklists (like Spamhaus) only answer queries from the receiving mail server, not from shared public resolvers. We mark those as inconclusive — it is not a listing.
- I'm listed. What now?
- Each blacklist has its own delisting process, but the real fix is sending from well-managed infrastructure with proper authentication so you don't get relisted.
