How to Migrate from Titan Email to DigiCloudMail

DigiCloudMail TeamOctober 4, 2026 2 min read

Titan Email often comes bundled with a domain or hosting purchase, and many businesses later want more control, stronger admin tooling or better value. Moving to DigiCloudMail is straightforward and causes no disruption to your team. Here is exactly how.

Before you start

Have these ready:

  • A list of every mailbox and alias on Titan
  • Access to your Titan account (via your host or control panel)
  • Access to your domain's DNS to update records at cutover

It is also a good moment to retire mailboxes you no longer use.

Step 1: Set up DigiCloudMail (don't switch yet)

We create your domain and mailboxes on DigiCloudMail first, while your MX records stay pointed at Titan. Mail keeps flowing to your existing inboxes, so nothing changes for your team during preparation.

Step 2: Sync mail, contacts and calendars

Using a guided migration, we securely connect to Titan and copy everything - messages, folders, contacts and calendars - into DigiCloudMail in the background, while your team works as normal.

Step 3: Verify

We spot-check migrated mailboxes to confirm folder structure, recent messages, contacts and calendar entries all arrived correctly.

Step 4: Update authentication and MX records

We help you set the correct SPF, DKIM and DMARC records for DigiCloudMail (see email authentication explained), then update your MX records to point to DigiCloudMail (more in what are MX records). New mail now lands in your new inboxes - already full of your history.

Step 5: Delta sync

Any messages that arrived on Titan during the switch are captured by a delta sync, so nothing is missed in the changeover window.

Step 6: Decommission Titan

Once everything is verified, you can drop the Titan plan. Export first if your retention policy requires it. Your domain and website stay exactly where they are - only the email records change.

Why it's painless

The whole approach follows one rule: never switch before the data is ready. Both systems run side by side until cutover, so there is no downtime - the same method in our zero-downtime migration guide. Weighing it up first? See Titan email alternative.

We can run it for you

Prefer a hands-off move? Our team handles the connection, sync, record changes and delta sync end to end, so the switch is invisible to your users.
